My favourite season is here once again. It seems to be the one that slips through my fingers the quickest, as I try to do everything in my power to savour it. I am sharing five of my fall rhythms that I want to remember as I begin to implement them.
My heart hopes that as I put my fingers to the keys and document the little moments that somehow It will make this day last a little longer. Perhaps if I write I will remember how it felt to sit outside with a cardigan on. The sunshine out, but a cool breeze through the air as I sip my pumpkin cream cold brew. My mind races with all of the new things that are happening in this season. The meme that is the most relatable is the one that takes me back to the days of the beginning of school:
Fall is my favorite for way too many reasons. Honestly I could write an entire blog post filled with all the reasons why (and perhaps I will). Today the focus is one of those reasons. For me fall is the biggest indicator of rhythms. My family always celebrated the first day of school as “New Years” and it honestly is way too true. It feels new and fresh. We crave rhythm and routine and fall is when so many of these are established.
I thought I would take a minute to share my rhythms I am clinging to in this new season. As many of you know, Levi and I have been in a long year of uncertainty and preparation for moving to Kelowna, so I am very much looking forward to getting into a new routine. I have five different thoughts that I want to share with you as I implement them into my own life.
Please tell me all your rhythms for this season: I need to know.
